Our Quantitative Desk
The Quantitative Desk focuses on using data, statistical models, and proprietary algorithms to uncover short-term market opportunities and pricing inefficiencies. The team builds and refines automated trading strategies with a strong emphasis on event riven trading, statistical arbitrage, and quantamental research. Designed for high-performing students in econometrics, data science, computer science and engineering students. The desk combines rigorous research with practical application. It plays a central role at Prometheus capital by turning quantitative insights into systematic, real-world strategies.
Our Equity Desk
With a 15–65 day horizon, we bridge short-term trading and long-term investing. Using the BMPB framework, we run equity analysis, deep sector and macro analysis to spot market inefficiencies and event-driven plays. Students gain hands-on experience in trade selection, performance tracking, and adaptive strategy in fast-moving markets.
Our Research Desk
Prometheus Capital Research operates as a disciplined intellectual division to deliver a comprehensive intelligence ecosystem ranging from essential market reporting to proprietary high-conviction strategy. We complement the perspectives of our members and external viewers by utilizing specialized domain experts to identify structural shifts and tactical opportunities that generalist coverage often misses. Our division provides a multifaceted library of insights that includes traditional market reporting for immediate clarity, deep thematic initiatives for long-term trends, and distinct variant view reports designed to challenge consensus beliefs.

What is it:
The Prometheus Community Project forms the moral and cultural foundation of the association. It serves as the outward expression of our values, translating our beliefs into meaningful engagement with our audience. Through this division, we create opportunities to understand, connect, and openly communicate the ideals that define who we are and what we strive to achieve. Prometheus Community embodies our long-standing commitment to a healthy balance between professional ambition and personal well-being.
By bridging our operational focus with student life, this division anchors our activities in purpose, accessibility, and shared identity, establishing a lasting foundation for community-driven growth within Prometheus.
How:
Prometheus Capital represents our initiative for organizing events and social gatherings, including borrels, designed to strengthen internal cohesion and external visibility. Originating from the Athletics Division previously established within the association, Prometheus Capital evolved organically from a focus on physical engagement into a broader platform for social connection and networking. Today, it functions as a central pillar for community interaction, fostering collaboration, inclusivity, and a strong sense of belonging through thoughtfully curated events.

AIC and Prometheus Capital collaborate to connect academic excellence with real-world financial research. This partnership brings together students interested in artificial intelligence, data science, and economics to work on applied quantitative projects, research initiatives, and market-focused analysis.
